Kiprob Earns Second GAC Honor

Aspel Kiprob earned the men's award for week six of the 2023 season. This is Kiprob's second GAC weekly accolade this year.
Kiprob showcased an exceptional performance last weekend at the Old Glory Gallop meet hosted by Dallas Baptist University where he led the Tigers to a commanding victory. He clinched the individual title with an impressive time of 23:42.3, setting a new school record in the process. Teammate
Oliver Kiptoo held the previous record of 23:48.1.
The Tigers worked as a cohesive unit to secure a 1-2-3-4-6 finish, amassing a total of 16 points to win the 28-team event by 87 points.
Kiprob and the men's cross country team will now prepare for the postseason on Oct. 21 at the Great American Conference Championships in Russellville, Ark.
