Perez Earns Back-to-Back GAC Special Teams Honors
RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – The Great American Conference announced its weekly football award winners, and East Central University's
Brandon Perez was named the GAC Special Teams Player of the Week for the eighth week of the 2024 season, marking his second consecutive accolade.
Perez secured back-to-back honors after kicking a dramatic game-winning 54-yard field goal in the final moments of ECU's 31-30 comeback road win against Southern Nazarene University. This season, Perez boasts an impressive record of 14-14 on PATs and 5-for-5 on field goals, while also setting a new career-high with his 54-yard field goal.
Perez and the Tigers gear up for their final road trip of the 2024 season on Saturday, Nov. 2, facing off against Arkansas Tech University.
