RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – The Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) announced its 2024 Central Region Women's Soccer All-Region Teams on Tuesday, and East Central University senior midfielder Abbie Morris earned First Team All-Central Region honors, further solidifying her impressive career with the Tigers.

Morris, a native of London, England, earns her first D2CCA All-Region honor, marking back-to-back seasons of recognition for the ECU soccer program after former teammate Tanja Bauböck received the distinction last year. With her First Team selection, Morris now advances to the D2CCA All-America voting, aiming to become the first D2CCA All-American in ECU soccer history.

The 2024 Great American Conference Midfielder of the Year and unanimous All-GAC First Team selection, Morris played in and started all 18 matches this season, accumulating 1,412 minutes of action, six goals, two game-winners, and 13 points. Her standout senior campaign was instrumental in ECU's success, helping the team secure its best record since the 2019 season. Morris' consistent skill and leadership in the midfield have been a cornerstone of the Tigers' performance throughout her career. She has earned All-GAC honors in each of her four seasons, including back-to-back First Team selections.

She has etched her name on several of ECU's career top-10 record list, including No. 10 in goals (14), points (32), and minutes played (4,567), No. 7 in shots (136) and shots on goal (61), and No. 3 in both penalty kicks attempted (2) and penalty kicks made (2).

The D2CCA All-America selections will be announced in December.
