EDMOND, Okla. – In their second meeting this season, the East Central University baseball team squared off against the University of Central Oklahoma for a midweek matchup, falling decisively to the Bronchos on Tuesday afternoon.
The Tigers notched five hits in the outing, led by
Trey Runge who went 2-for-2 at the plate. Additionally,
Nick Blankenship,
Pryce Jackson, and
DeAngelo Morales each contributed a hit.
ECU threw five pitchers altogether in the game, including
Jacob Poff,
Micah Cloud,
Damian Tarin,
Price Daube, and
Justin Chitty, who made his first start of the season.
The Tigers are now gearing up for their first Great American Conference series this weekend as they travel to Arkansas to take on the University of Arkansas at Monticello beginning Friday, Feb. 16.
