Softball Announces 2025 Schedule

Destini Anderson announced the Tigers' 2025 softball schedule, which features two season-opening tournaments, 16 non-conference matchups, and eight home series at Tiger Softball Field.
After finishing the 2024 season with a 21-27 overall record and a 12-21 mark in Great American Conference play, ECU narrowly missed out on a spot in the GAC Softball Championship Tournament. Heading into 2025, the Tigers are projected to finish 10th in the conference based on the preseason vote of the league's 12 head coaches.
The Tigers will open the 2025 campaign at the Branson Lead-Off Classic in Branson, Missouri, from January 31 to February 1. ECU will face the University of Minnesota Crookston, Truman State University, Southwest Baptist University, and Drury University during the opening weekend. The following weekend, ECU will travel to Bentonville, Arkansas, for the Alvy Early Memorial Classic, where they will once again compete against Drury and Truman State, while also facing McKendree University and Upper Iowa University.
Returning to Ada, the Tigers will host back-to-back non-conference doubleheaders, starting with Southwestern College on February 16 and Newman University on February 18.
ECU will begin their Great American Conference slate with a pair of road series. The Tigers first travel to Ouachita Baptist University on February 21-22, followed by a visit to Northwestern Oklahoma State University on February 28-29.
While still on the road, ECU will play a midweek doubleheader against Arlington Baptist University at Latta High School before hosting Oklahoma Baptist University for their first GAC home series on March 7-8.
A key rivalry matchup will take place on March 11, when the Tigers head to Durant for a doubleheader against Southeastern Oklahoma State University. ECU will then return to Ada to host Harding University for a three-game series on March 14-15 before heading to Russellville to face Arkansas Tech University on March 21-22.
The Tigers will conclude their non-conference schedule with a doubleheader against Newman University in Kansas on March 25 before returning home to host Southwestern Oklahoma State for a series on March 28-29.
In early April, ECU will visit Southern Nazarene University on April 4-5 before finishing the GAC rivalry series against Southeastern Oklahoma State with a single game in Ada on April 8. The Tigers will then welcome Southern Arkansas University to Ada for a series on April 11-12.
ECU will wrap up their regular season road games with a trip to the University of Arkansas at Monticello on April 17-18, before concluding the season at home with a series against Henderson State University on April 25-26.
The 2025 Great American Conference Championship Tournament will be held in Bentonville, Arkansas, from May 1-3.
