ADA, Okla. – The East Central University men's basketball team closed out its weekend home openers in dominant fashion, rolling past Randall University with a 100–51 victory Saturday afternoon inside the Kerr Activities Center.
With the win, ECU moves to 3–1 on the season and now shifts its focus back to the road, traveling to Richardson, Texas, for a non-conference matchup at UT Dallas on Wednesday, Nov. 26.
The Tigers reached the 100-point mark for the second straight game, continuing their offensive rhythm while applying steady defensive pressure to keep Randall in check. ECU built a commanding 54–24 lead by halftime, sparked by a
Jordan England three-pointer to open the scoring, and maintained control throughout, outscoring the Saints 46–27 in the second half.
All 15 Tigers saw the floor once again, with all but two players scoring at least two baskets.
Rustin Coffey and
Jaden Miller led the way with 12 points each, combining for 10 made field goals. Coffey added four rebounds, while Miller tallied a team-high five assists.
Jordan England and
Johnathan Price also reached double figures with 10 points apiece, highlighted by England's pair of threes and Price's efficient 4-of-6 shooting. On the defensive end,
Braden Baum and
Race Herr anchored the effort with six and five rebounds, respectively.
