Soccer Concludes 2025 Season at Home

ADA, Okla. – The East Central University soccer team closed out its 2025 season on Wednesday afternoon, hosting Harding University in its final Great American Conference. Despite a 3-0 result, the Tigers battled and finished the year with determination at Tiger Soccer Field.

ECU finished their campaign with an overall record of 1-13-4 and a 1-7-4 mark in GAC play. The Tigers will now await any postseason honors or conference recognition.

The Lady Bisons opened the scoring in the 10th minute and doubled their advantage in the 28th, capitalizing on early offensive pressure that led to a 12-0 shot margin in the first half.

After the break, ECU responded with more attacking energy, generating five shots, four of which were on target from Avery Spadoni, Melieah Hinnant, and Angelica Bochus, but each were stopped by Harding's goalkeeper. A third goal in the 72nd minute put the match out of reach, sealing the 3-0 decision.

Madison Mayhall came up with one save in goal, while Courtney Dugan secured five in the second half.

The game also marked the final appearance for ECU seniors Madison Martinez, Haleigh Goodson, Ximena Resendiz, Angelica Bochus, Emily Green, Averi Ferguson, and Abbeigh Bland, who each concluded their Tiger careers.
