Cade Searcy earning Offensive Player of the Week honors following a career-best performance that helped lift the Tigers to a season-opening win. It's the program's first Offensive POTW honor since 2022.

The sophomore from Gainesville, Texas, powered his way to 174 rushing yards on 19 carries while finding the end zone twice, including a 31-yard touchdown to open the scoring and a momentum-shifting 47-yard run in the fourth quarter that put the Tigers back in front, 21-16.
