Women’s Track & Field Compete at J.D. Martin Invitational to Open Indoor Season
Norman, Okla. – The East Central University women's track & field team opened the 2025 indoor season Saturday at the 24th Annual J.D. Martin Invitational, hosted by the University of Oklahoma.
Stephanie Ojo led the Tigers with a ninth-place finish in the 800 meters, posting a time of 2:38.05 to give ECU its highest individual placement on the women's side. In the hurdles,
Macee Hall added a 20th-place finish in the 60-meter hurdles.
Haley Ellison followed with a 19th-place finish in the 200 meters and placed 26th in the 60 meters.
Chloe Tatum recorded a 27th-place finish in the 200 and finished 32nd in the 60, while
Destiny Jennings placed 36th in the 200 and added a 25th-place finish in the 400 meters. Hall also competed in the 60 meters, finishing 45th.
In the field events, Ellison added a 21st-place finish in the long jump with a mark of 4.97 meters.
