ECU Baseball Home Opening Series Canceled Due to Weather
ADA, Okla. — Due to inclement weather and poor field conditions, East Central University baseball's scheduled home opening series against Newman University on February 1–2 has been canceled.
The Tigers will officially open the 2026 season at the UCO First Pitch Classic in Edmond, Oklahoma. ECU's first game of the season is set for Thursday, February 5, against Emporia State University, with first pitch scheduled for 1 p.m.
The Tigers' home opener is now scheduled for Tuesday, February 10, when ECU hosts Rogers State University in a non-conference matchup at 2 p.m.
