ECU Athletics Announces 2027 Hall of Fame Inductees
Ada, Okla. – The East Central University Athletic Department is proud to announce the ECU Athletics Hall of Fame Class of 2027, featuring four outstanding individuals and one championship team!
"The Hall of Fame represents the tradition of excellence that makes ECU Athletics so special," said ECU Athletic Director
Matt Cole. "The accomplishments of this year's inductees reflect the hard work, commitment, and competitive spirit that define Tiger Athletics. We are honored to recognize their contributions and celebrate the legacy they have built at ECU."
The 2027 Hall of Fame inductees include Class of 2005 baseball student-athlete Kevin O'Brien, Class of 2011 men's cross country student-athlete Armando Saldivar, Class of 2016 softball student-athlete Jordynn (VanPelt) Terry, distinguished ECU football alumnus Tom Darter, and the 2011 women's soccer GAC Championship Team.
With these additions, ECU's Hall of Fame Class expands to 173 former student-athletes, alumni, coaches, administrators, and teams who have made significant impacts and contributions to ECU Athletics.
A formal induction ceremony will take place Friday, January 29, at the Chickasaw Business and Conference Center. More information about the banquet, including ticket purchasing options, will be made available in the upcoming weeks.
