The renovation project began following the conclusion of the 2025 season and was completed in just four months, transforming the space into one of the most state-of-the-art locker room facilities at the NCAA Division II level.

"This project reflects our commitment to providing a first-class experience for our student-athletes while honoring the history of ECU Football," said ECU Athletic Director Matt Cole. "We are proud to offer a facility that supports development, recovery, and daily excellence."

The unveiling event welcomed alumni, former and current coaches, university administrators, and members of both the ECU and Ada communities. Opening remarks were delivered before attendees were invited to tour the facility and experience the transformation firsthand.

The redesigned locker room blends the rich tradition of Tiger football with a modern, forward-thinking approach. The upgraded space features 140 lockers, a dedicated nutrition center, hot and cold recovery tubs, integrated televisions, custom lighting, a full sound system, and advanced locker technology, including built-in charging stations, keypad locking mechanisms, ventilation systems for equipment, and expanded storage throughout.

The renovation was made possible through a collaborative effort between Clark Contractors LLC, Longhorn Locker Company, Jackson Davis Illustration, and Choctaw Print Services, whose expertise helped bring the vision to life.

With the completion of the Elvan George Locker Room renovation, ECU Football continues to raise the standard and invest in the future of the program.
