The honor marks the third GAC weekly award of Kennedy's career and his second straight Offensive Player of the Week selection.

Kennedy once again delivered a standout performance, leading the Tigers' offense in a 42-37 victory over Arkansas-Monticello at Koi Ishto Stadium. The win moved ECU to 2-0 on the season and marked the Tigers' sixth consecutive victory over the Boll Weevils.

The junior quarterback completed 18-of-27 passes for 289 yards and two touchdowns while adding 22 rushing yards and two touchdowns on the ground. Kennedy accounted for four of ECU's six touchdowns and finished the night with 311 total yards.

Through two games this season, Kennedy has accounted for six of nine total touchdowns and currently ranks first in the GAC in passing at 244.5 yards per game and total offense at 311.0 yards per game.

Kennedy and the Tigers will hit the road for their next GAC matchup on Saturday, Sept. 19, when they take on Southern Nazarene University at 6 p.m. in Bethany.
