Women’s Golf Opens Season at NSU Classic
TULSA, Okla. – The East Central University women's golf team opened the 2026-27 season Monday and Tuesday at the Page Belcher Golf Course, finishing 12th at the NSU Classic.
Senior
Addison Furtick led the Tigers individually, tying for 13th with a two-round total of 151 (+9), marking her best performance as a Tiger. Furtick carded 77 (+6) in Monday's opening round before turning in an impressive 74 (+3) on Tuesday, improving by three strokes. She recorded five birdies throughout the tournament, including back-to-back birdies to open her second round.
Gabriela Hack tied for 52nd overall with a two-round total of 170 (+28). Hack improved by four strokes from Monday's opening round, carding an 83 (+12) in Tuesday's final round. She recorded a birdie on the par-3 13th hole in her second round and closed the tournament with a 40 (+4) on the back nine.
Adrianna O'Daniel finished tied for 58th with a two-round total of 174 (+32). O'Daniel carded an 84 (+13) in the opening round and followed with a 90 (+19) on Tuesday.
Caressa Woods rounded out the Tigers' lineup in her first tournament with East Central, finishing with a two-round total of 181 (+39). Woods carded a 91 (+20) in Monday's opening round before improving to a 90 (+19) on Tuesday. She recorded two birdies throughout the tournament and closed out the event with her best back nine, shooting a 42 (+6) in the final round.
The Tigers will return to the course for the Grace Shin Invitational, set for Oct. 5-6 in Edmond.
