2015: Played in 24 matches for ECU…recorded 148 digs and 10 service aces…ranked fourth on the team in digs and fifth in service aces.
 
2014: Played in all 30 matches for the Tigers as a defensive specialist…was second on the team with 310 digs.
 
2013: Redshirted.
 
Before ECU: A four-year member of the Commerce High School volleyball squad…helped the team to three district championships and into the playoffs all four seasons…named an academic all-district pick for four years…earned all-district honorees for three seasons, with second team honors as a freshman and first team accolades as a junior and senior.
 
Personal: Born December 16, 1994…daughter of Winfred and Stacey Essix…majoring in kinesiology…older sisters Yakira and Danielle were both members of the Tigers.
