Brayden Boyd joined the East Central University baseball staff for the 2020 season as a graduate assistant pitching coach.
Boyd comes to ECU after spending two seasons at Northeastern State University.
Prior to going to Northeastern State, Boyd played under Coach Gage at Murray State College. Boyd was part of the 2017 Murray State Aggies that went back to the world series for the first time since the aggies won it all in 2013.
Brayden spent time coaching in the Texas Collegiate League during the Summer of 2019, he was an assistant coach for the Texarkana Twins. He served as the pitching coach for the TCL runners-up.
The Holliday, Texas native earned an associate degree in health and human performance at Murray State College in May 2017 and a bachelor’s degree in health and human performance from Northeastern State in May 2019. Boyd is currently pursuing a masters’ degree in Sports Administration at East Central.
