Hayden George made the switch from heling East Central University baseball in the field to helping from the bench, as he was named a graduate assistant coach from the 2022 season.
George made his mark in a Tiger uniform from 2018-21, earning a spot on four ECU Career Top-10 Lists. He ranked No. 6 for At-Bats (392), No. 7 Games Played (122), No. 7 Games Started (110) and No. 8 Hits (120).
Before ECU, George spent one season at Connor State where he helped the team to a conference championship and held a .390 batting average.
He played his prep ball at Broken Bow High School, where he led the Savages to four-straight regional finals appearances and a regional championship in 2013.
The Broken Bow, Okla., native earned an bachelor’s degree in kinesiology from East Central in May 2020 and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in sports administration at East Central.
