Juan Pablo Soriano joined the East Central University baseball staff for the 2019 season as an assistant hitting coach, working with the hitters and handling outfield coaching duties.Â
Soriano comes to the Tigers after spending two seasons in the Southwestern Athletic Conference at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff. He also played at LSU-Eunice for one season and at Seminole State for a season. At Seminole State he also served as the JV team coach.
Soriano earned most of his baseball knowledge in his home island of Puerto Rico with the Pro Baseball High School and Academy from 2010-2013.
A native of Puerto Rico, he earned a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology at Arkansas at Pine Bluff in May 2018 and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in sports administration at East Central.
