East Central University Athletics

Ryan Downs is in his second season as a Graduate Assistant Coach for the East Central University baseball team.

Prior to joining the Tigers, Downs spent the 2010 and 2011 seasons playing professional baseball in Nicaragua.

Downs finished his collegiate career at Bacone College (2006-07). Downs also played at Cleveland State Community College, where he earned All-Conference First Team honors, and Brevard Community College.

Downs spent four seasons on the varsity baseball team at North Miami Beach Senior High School.

Downs earned a bachelor’s degree in Sports Management from Bacone College and is currently pursuing a master’s in Education and Sports Administration at East Central.
