Brett Marsaln returns to the ECU staff in charge of football operations after one year away. He had previously spent a season as a student assistant coach for tight ends in 2012 and 2013 and one season as the video coordinator (2011).
Marsaln coached at Cascia Hall Prep School in Tulsa where he served as a football and baseball assistant coach. While at Cascia he helped guide the football team to a 2009 Class 3A State Championship.
Marsaln also helped produce three NCAA Division I recruits in Bryce Carter (Stanford-Baseball), Garrett Waller (Villanova) and Conner Sherwood (Tulsa).
The Tulsa, Okla., native played football at East Central in 2007 and is currently working on bachelor’s degree history at ECU.
