Chris Espinoza begins his second season as coach of the Tiger wide receivers after a two-year playing career at ECU.

Espinoza caught 13 touchdown passes during his two-year Tiger career for 857 yards on 49 receptions. Two of his big games came as a junior in 2010 as he caught three TD passes in a 22-19 home win over Eastern New Mexico and had two TD receptions in a 36-33 Lone Star Conference North Division clinching title game victory over Texas A&M-Commerce. He then followed that up with eight scoring receptions as a senior.

He transferred to ECU from Victor Valley Junior College (Calif.) after playing at Silverado High School (Calif.). He is from Apple Valley, Calif.
