East Central University Athletics

After spending the last two seasons teaching at Longview Texas ISD, Deon Criss rejoins the Tigers as a graduate assistant coach for defensive backs.  He was a defensive back for ECU after playing on the field in 2011 and 2012.
 
During his time at Longview he taught at the elementary school.
 
While with the Tigers, Criss garnered 38 (27-11) total tackles, while adding a sack for 63 yards and two passes defended.
 
The Lancaster, Texas, native earned a bachelor’s degree at ECU in kinesiology and is now pursuing a master’s degree in sports administration.
