East Central University Athletics

Lamares Shields returns to the Tigers after spending four seasons on the defensive line in uniform from 2010-2013.  Shields will be coaching the defensive lineman.
 
Shields finished his career for ECU in 2013 with 11 total tackles (3-8), one TFL and one blocked kick.
 
Before coming to the Tigers, Shields was an all-state honoree and Oil Bowl participant at Del City High School.
 
The Del City, Okla., native is currently working towards a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology at ECU.
