Matt Zeitler joins the East Central football coaching staff as the assistant offensive line coach for the 2018 season.
Zeitler spent the previous four years as a student-athlete at Wisconsin Luther College where he played in 31 games as a member of the offensive line. While with the Warriors, Zeitler was also a member of the NCAA Scholar-Athlete list.
Prior to his time at Wisconsin Luther College, Zeitler played at Wisconsin Lutheran High School. As a prep, he earned First Team All-Little Team, First Team All-Region and All-State Honorable Mention honors as a senior. He also helped the team to two Little Ten title and was a team captain.
A native of Waukesha, Wisc., he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in sports and exercise science from Wisconsin Lutheran College in May 2018 and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in sports administration at ECU.
