Peter Gray enters his first season as the Offensive Line Coach and Run Game Coordinator for the East Central University football program in 2026.
Prior to joining the Tigers, Gray served as an Assistant Offensive Line Coach at the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA), where he helped develop one of the conference's most productive offenses from 2022 through 2025.
A former UTSA student-athlete, Gray competed as both a tight end and defensive end, giving him a unique perspective on line play from both sides of the ball. During his playing career, he started at defensive end and recorded the first blocked field goal in program history, helping secure a victory over Middle Tennessee State. His experience as a player continues to shape his coaching philosophy and commitment to player development.
Throughout his coaching career, Gray has contributed to the development of All-Conference talent, assisted in recruiting highly rated student-athletes, and played a key role in offensive game planning, protection schemes, and run-game coordination.
He earned both his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and his Master of Science in Facility Management from the University of Texas at San Antonio.
