Coach Aguilar comes to East Central from Lincoln University in Missouri where he served as the offensive line coach and recruiting coordinator. During his time at Lincoln University Aguilar coached Offensive lineman true FR Alejandro Flores and redshirt JR Thomas Medellin who both earned All-MIAA Honorable Mention Honors.
Prior to his time in Jefferson City, Coach Aguilar served as the Offensive Lineman Graduate Assistant at Washington State University under the Head Coach Nick Rolovich. Coach Aguilar helped in the effort to a 7-5 season with a bowl appearance. Coach also got to help in the growth of 3rd round draft pick Abraham Lucas and undrafted free agent Liam Ryan; both of the Seattle Seahawks.Â
Prior to his time in () Coach Aguilar served as the Defensive Lineman Graduate Assistant at the University of Hawaiian 2019. During his time in Honolulu, coach helped in the development of AU Mountain West Honorable Mention Defensive Lineman Blessman Ta'ala.
Coach began his coaching career at his Alma Mater, American River College under head coach Jon Osterhout and defensive coordinator Lou Baiz. Aguilar helped in the development of Linebacker Rahsaan York who proceeded to play at Kansas State, Offensive Lineman Nick Steele who proceeded to play at Nebraska Kearney, Offensive Lineman Jimmy Ghilardi who proceeded to play at University of San Diego, Offensive Lineman Trey Price who proceeded to play at Nevada, and Linebacker Lukas Ruoss who proceeded to play at Bemidji State.Â
Aguilar received his Masters degree in education from Washington State University in 2022. He received his Bachelors degree in Kinesiology from California State University Sacramento in 2019. Coach Aguilar was born in Sacramento, California.
