Rich Stammetti enters his third season as the Tigers’ Quarterbacks Coach and Passing Game Coordinator in 2026.
Since joining the East Central staff, Stammetti has helped develop quarterback Kennedy into an All-Great American Conference selection where he ranked No. 1 in the GAC in passing yards and No. 2 in total offense, highlighting the continued development of the Tigers’ passing game under Stammetti.
Prior to joining East Central, Stammetti spent the 2023 season coaching wide receivers at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College (NEO), where he helped develop multiple players who went on to transfer to Division I programs. He previously spent one season at Coffeyville Community College, coaching quarterbacks and wide receivers. During the 2022 season, Stammetti was part of an offense that advanced to the NJCAA semifinals.
Stammetti began his coaching career after completing his collegiate playing career at Henderson State University. As a quarterback for the Reddies, he started and played in all 23 games during the 2018 and 2019 seasons, completing 433 of 771 passes for 5,272 yards and 42 touchdowns. Before joining Henderson State, he spent his first two collegiate seasons at Mt. San Antonio College.
A native of Las Vegas, Nevada, Stammetti earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Henderson State in 2019 before completing his Master of Business Administration in 2022.
Stammetti and his wife, Mo, have one daughter, Emilia Rose.
