Trevor Romans joined the East Central University football staff as a graduate assistant coach for the offensive line and strength & conditioning in the 2021 season.
Prior to joining the Tigers, Romans was a strength & conditioning intern and assistant game operations manager for East Tennessee State University football for one season. He also spent time as the co-offensive coordinator at Grundy County High School (2020), head coach/offensive coordinator at Whitwell Middle School (2019), wide receiver/tight ends coach and strength coach at Franklin County High School (2018-19), and offensive/defensive line coach at Grundy County (2017-18).
During his time in college and while coaching he served as a combat medic in the U.S. Army Reserve (2012-18).
The Jasper, Tenn., native earned a bachelor’s degree in physical education, with a minor in coaching from East Tennessee State in May 2017 and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in sport psychology at ECU.
