Jefferson Ocoro joined the Tiger men’s basketball staff after finishing a two-year stint on the court for ECU in 2015-16.
Ocoro helped the Tigers turn around the program in 2013-14 and 2014-15, as they advanced to the Great American Conference Tournament championship game in 2015-16. He shot .527 (48-of-91) from the field in two seasons.
Prior to joining ECU, Ocoro spent a year at Blinn Junior College after coming to the U.S. from Salesiano San Juan Bosco High School in Colombia. He was also a member of the Colombia U-15 Team in 2009, U-17 Team in 2011 and U-18 Team in 2012.
The Tulua, Colombia, native is currently working on a bachelor’s degree in business administration at ECU.
