    Assistant Coach
 Trey Hendon joined the East Central University men’s basketball staff as an assistant coach for the 2012-13 season. 

Prior to joining the Tigers, Hendon spent the past two seasons as a Graduate Assistant/Assistant Video Coordinator at Oklahoma State University under head coach Travis Ford. His responsibilities included constructing scouting reports, producing video highlights and player development.

Before moving to OSU he was a volunteer assistant coach at Oklahoma Baptist, under National Champion and ECU Hall of Fame Coach Doug Tolin.

Hendon has also served as assistant coach for the boys’ basketball team at Broken Bow High School in 2009-10 where helped lead the Savages to the State Quarterfinals. He also was a tournament facilitator of the Eddie Ford Kentucky Hoopfest from 2010-12 and served as camp coach at the Blue Chip Basketball Camp in Georgetown, Ky., in 2010.

The Broken Bow, Okla., native earned his bachelor of science in secondary education (social sciences) from Oklahoma State in 2009. He is currently pursuing a master of education in higher education administration at OSU with an anticipated graduation date in 2013.
