Biography

2013:  Redshirted…earned GAC All-Academic honors.
 
2012: Named the ECU Male Athlete of the Year nominee for the Great American Conference…earned NCAA All-Central Regional honors after finishing 24th…named to the All-GAC First Team after finishing second overall…a USTFCCCA Division II All-Academic Team selection…also earned CoSIDA Academic All-District First Team honors…was the top finisher for the Tigers at the 2012 ECU Tiger Chase, third at the Midwestern State and eighth at the OSU Cowboy Jamboree… earned GAC All-Academic honors.
 
2011: Earned All-Great American Conference accolades by placing fifth in the 8k conference meet with a time of 25:05.37, a personal-best time, as the Tigers claimed the GAC crown…also took 23rd in the NCAA Division II South Central Regional to pick up an all-region award…earned an Academic All-American award… earned GAC All-Academic honors.
 
2010: Placed 20th in the 2010 10k NCAA Division II Regional (33:04.62) and was 16th in the 2010 8k Lone Star Conference Championships (25:42.29)… earned an Academic All-American award.
 
Before ECU: A three-time state champion in cross country and the 1600 meters for Calera High School…also had state runner-up efforts in the 3200 and 800-meter runs.
 
Personal: Born Dec. 17, 1991…son of Kelly and Shelli Eidson…received a bachelor’s degree in Artsin history from ECU in May 2014…currently pursuing a master’s degree in sports administration.
