Noel Figueroa joins the East Central cross country coaching staff as a graduate assistant coach after spending four seasons as a runner on the Tigers team.
He helped ECU to claim three GAC Championships along the way. Figueroa was also a standout in the classroom earned GAC All-Academic and D2ADA Academic honors his final three seasons.
Figueroa helped the Twentynine Palms High School team to the DeAnza League Championship as a senior and was seventh in the state championship.
The Twentynine Palms, Calif., native earned a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology in May 2016 and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in sports administration at ECU.
