Amber Good enters her first season as the East Central University softball assistant coach for the 2024 season.
A native of Prague, Oklahoma, Good arrives at ECU after serving 18 seasons at the helm of the Southwestern College softball program. There, she led the Jinx to 207 total wins while helping produce five All-KCAC First Team, 15 Second Team, and 32 Honorable Mention selections since 2007.
Prior to Southwestern, Good began her coaching career at Union College in Barbourville, Kentucky as the graduate assistant coach from 2001-03.
As an athlete, Good attended St. Gregory’s University where she played in the 1998 NSCAA National Championship, was named to the NSCAA All-Tournament Team, and finished as the 1999 NSCAA National Runner-up.
Good earned a Bachelor of Arts in Humanities at St. Gregory’s in 2001 and a Master of Arts in Education from Union College in 2003.
