Charley Avery played 2 years at McLennan Community College, she received 2nd team all conference and graduated with honors. Following her time at McLennan Avery played at East Central for 3 years. She was awarded defensive player of the year for 2020-2021. She graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Accounting in 2020, and is currently pursuing a masters in accounting.
