Lacey Wenholm became a graduate assistant in 2016 for East Central after spending four seasons with the Tiger program on the field.
Wenholm moved into a key starting role for ECU as a senior and ended the season with 21 runs, 30 hits, five doubles, four home runs and 30 RBIs. She also added a .973 (35 putouts, one assist, one error) fielding percentage.
Before joining the Tigers, Wenholm was a two-time conference MVP at Little Axe High School. During her time at Little Axe she also earned all-district, all-region, all-city and several team honors, including the Little Axe Female Athlete of the Year.
The Shawnee, Okla., native earned a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology in May 2015 and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in sports administration at ECU.
