Katie Glutz remains a part of the Tigers soccer program, moving from a player to a graduate assistant coach in 2015.
Glutz was a standout for ECU for four years, earning All-Great American Conference honors all four seasons. She left the Tigers ranked No. 3 in career assists (12), No. 8 in career points (30), No. 3 in career game-winning goals (3) and No. 7 in career matches (70).
Glutz helped the Tigers to the 2011 GAC Championship title as a freshman and was named to the GAC All-Tournament Team twice in her career. In her final season with the Tigers she was second on the team with four goals and 10 points.
Before joining ECU, Glutz was a first team all-district honoree at Timberview High School in Mansfield, Texas. She also played for the D’Feeters Soccer Club in Texas, where she earned a regional championship in 2008.
Glutz graduated from ECU with a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology in May 2014 and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in sports administration.
