Alexis Austin joined the East Central University volleyball staff for the 2020 season.
Austin spent the previous four years on the volleyball team at Texas Southern University. While with the Tigers, she earned a spot on the Southwestern Athletic Conference All-Tournament team twice and became a member of the 1,000 kill club. She was also a member of the SWAC Commissioner’s Honor Roll in 2019-20.
While a prep, Austin played at Everman Joe C. Bean High School, where she was named to the Texas High School Volleyball Max Prep list as a senior.
The Fort Worth, Texas, native received a bachelor’s degree in health studies from Texas Southern in May 2020. She is currently pursuing a bachelor’s in nursing from East Central.
