Sydney Glowacki (Dungen) serves as the Assistant Athletic Director for Marketing and Sports Information at East Central University, a role she assumed in 2026 following a decorated five-year playing career with the ECU volleyball team. She first joined the ECU Athletic Department in 2022 as the Coordinator of Athletic Operations and Outreach.
In her role, Glowacki helps coordinate athletic communications while serving as the primary contact for all 13 varsity sports offered at ECU.
As a player, Glowacki became ECU's all-time leader in services aces (115) and matches played (130). She also left her mark on five other career top-10 lists including No. 2 in assists (2,763) and sets played (451), No. 3 in kill percentage (.250) and double-doubles (26), and No. 6 in digs (930).
For her efforts, Glowacki was awarded Offensive Player of the Year in 2019-20 and MVP in in 2021-22 at the annual Roary Awards hosted by the ECU Athletic Department.
In the classroom, Glowacki was a four time GAC All-Academic selection, GAC Distinguished Scholar Athlete (2021), and was recognized by the D2 Athletic Directors Association for academic achievement. Additionally, Glowacki was named a Distinguished Graduate of the Masters in Management program at the Stonecipher School of Business and a finalist for the prestigious George Nigh Award which is given to the top graduating senior at ECU.
A native of Alvin, Texas, Glowacki graduated with honors from ECU, earning a bachelor's degree in marketing in 2021 and her masters in management in 2022.
