East Central University Athletics

ADA – East Central University football senior Karmah Yates has been named the ECU Male Athlete of the Week for Oct. 5.

Yates helped the Tigers (4-1, 4-1 GAC) to a 42-30 victory over Northwestern Oklahoma State last week.  He finished the game with five (2-3) tackles, 2.0 sacks, 2.5 TFL and four quarterback hurries.  Several of his hurries resulted in interceptions for ECU.  The Tigers set a new GAC record with seven interceptions in the game.
