Before ECU: Spent his first two collegiate seasons at John Wood Community College…named a second team NJCAA All-American as a sophomore…the Region 24 and Mid-West Athletic Conference Player of the Year…averaged 16 points and eight rebounds per game last season…named to the all-region and all-conference teams as a sophomore, while claiming second team all-conference and MWAC Freshman of the Year honors as a freshman…attended Canton High School and was a two-time all-state pick…helped the Tigers to the state semifinals as a junior and senior.
