ADA – East Central University baseball junior Jake McKeel has been named the ECU Male Student-Athlete of the Week for Feb. 29. 

The Dunmuir, Calif., native hit .545 for the Tigers in three games at Northwestern.  McKeel tallied four runs, six hits and 10 RBIs.  Of his six hits, two went over the fence including a grand slam in the first game of the series to score all four of ECU’s runs.

He ended the weekend with a 1.091 slugging percentage, .643 on-base percentage and a perfect fielding percentage (20 putouts, 2 assists).
