RUSSELLVILLE, ARK. – East Central University women's cross country sophomore Anna Mora has been named the Great American Conference Female Runner of the Week for Sept. 21.

Mora came within one second of matching her personal 5K record, as she turned in a time of 18:01.99 at the Missouri Southern Stampede. She shaved almost 25 seconds off of her time at the same meet last year. She helped the Tigers place fifth, out of 21 teams and she finished in 10^th individually.

The Tigers will be back in action Saturday, Sept. 24 at the Cowboy Jamboree in Stillwater, Okla.
