East Central University Athletics

ADA – East Central University women’s basketball junior Ashleigh Kelman-Poto had strong outings during the first two Great American Conference games of the season and again at St. Gregory’s.

The Auckland, New Zealand, native recorded back-to-back double-doubles against the first two GAC teams the Lady Tigers have faced in 2013-14.  She tallied 12 points and 11 rebounds against Ouachita Baptist (Nov. 21) and then 12 points and 12 rebounds against Henderson State (Nov. 23).  When ECU made its first road trip of the season, to St. Gregory’s, Kelman-Poto then added seven rebounds.
