East Central University Athletics

ADA – East Central University women’s tennis freshman Julia Municoy has been a key player for the Lady Tigers this season.  Municoy currently has a 10-7 singles record, including a 7-6 mark at No. 2 singles.  She is also 8-9 in doubles, including a 6-3 mark at No. 1 doubles with junior Elisabeth Dignard.

Last weekend, Municoy helped ECU to a 2-0 record in Great American Conference matches.  The Lady Tigers earned an 8-1 win over Henderson State and a 9-0 mark over Ouachita Baptist.  Municoy won both of her doubles matches with Dignard at No. 1 doubles and both singles matches in two sets at No. 2 singles.
