ADA – East Central University volleyball sophomore Hayley Gerken had a strong weekend for the Lady Tigers at the first South Central Classic hosted by ECU at the Kerr Activities Center.

Gerken tallied 39 kills (2.29/set), a .261 (39k-15e-92ta) hitting percentage, five service aces, eight digs and a team-best 15 (1-14) blocks.

The Santa Ana, Calif., native helped ECU to a 1-3 finish at the tournament, win the win coming in a 3-0 sweep of Mid-America Christian.
