Box Score 2 MONTICELLO, ARK. – The East Central University baseball team fell in two games to No. 25 Arkansas-Monticello in Great American Conference action. The Tigers (20-13, 9-9 GAC) fell 5-11 in the opening game of the day and then 3-7 in the second.
ECU was led by junior
Andrew Ayrado, who hit .800 for the day, with four hits, one run and two RBIs. Junior
Garrett Donohoe added a .667 average, with two hits, one home run and two RBIs.

Icezack Flemming threw his seventh complete game of the season, allowing 10 hits and seven runs and striking out seven batters.
The Tigers will return to the Tiger Field where they will start a nine-game home stand that will wrap up their home games for the 2014 season. ECU will host Oklahoma Christian Tuesday, April 1 at 2 p.m., with the home strand running through April 15 when St. Gregory's comes to town.
Game 1 – UAM 11, ECU 5
The Tigers came out strong in the first inning, with their lead-off hitter senior
Josh Lavender hitting a double to right center. Donohoe earned the RBI with a single to center for the 1-0 lead.
The Boll Weevils (24-10, 14-7 GAC) responded to tie the game in the bottom of the first and then take a 1-6 lead with a run in the second and four in the third.
Donohoe cut into the deficit with a home run to left field in the fifth, but UAM added three more runs in the bottom of the inning for a 2-9 disadvantage.
ECU tried to cut into the lead again in the top of the sixth after the Boll Weevils recorded two-straight errors and added a wild pitch to put senior
Ethan Gold on third and junior
Casey Chenoweth on second. That allowed Ayrado to earn two RBIs with a single to right center and a 4-9 score.
The Tigers added another run in the top of the seventh for a 5-9 deficit. Donohoe walked and junior
Nick Spini reached on an error that put Donohoe on third. Junior
David Terrazas earned the RBI with a ground out.
UAM added two more runs in the bottom of the seventh to end the scoring with a 5-11 final.
Game 2 – UAM 7, ECU 3
ECU was again the first to score, this time in the top of the second. After the first two outs were recorded Chenoweth drew a walk and Ayrado hit a single to short. Junior
Ty Huie then hit a single through the left side to score one run. Lavender added a double to right center to score two more for a 3-0 lead.
The Boll Weevils quickly responded and scored five runs in the fifth for a 3-5 lead. UAM added a run in both the fourth and sixth innings for the 3-7 final.
