Box Score ADA – The East Central University baseball team lost the final game of the Great American Conference series with Harding at Tiger Field, 0-2. The Tigers (10-10, 6-6 GAC) earned the series with after claiming both games of the double-header Friday, March 7.

ECU struggled to get their offense going, recording five hits to the Bisons (12-5, 4-2 GAC) seven, with no player hitting more than one hit in the game.
Senior
Robert Buitrago suffered the loss, with six innings of action on the mound. Buitrago allowed five hits and one run, while striking out two. Junior
Oscar Gomez threw the next two innings, with four strikeouts to his credit.
Both teams held each other scoreless through the first four innings, before Harding took a 0-1 advantage in the top of the fifth.
The Tigers then had a chance to tie the game in the bottom of the fifth, as they had the bases loaded with two outs. However, they were unable to capitalize.
The Bisons added the final run of the game in the top of the seventh for the 0-2 final.
ECU will now prepare for a non-conference game against St. Gregory's, Tuesday, March 11 at 3 p.m. and a four-game non-conference road series against Abilene Christian, March 14-17.
