Game 1 – NWOSU 8, ECU 1
The Rangers (22-23, 7-20 GAC) took an early lead in the first inning, scoring two runs.

The Tigers cut the lead in half in the top of the second.  Pomales led off with a single and went to second on a wild pitch.  Junior Casey Chenoweth then sent him to third with a ground out.  That allowed Terrazas to earn his RBI with a single through the left side and a 1-2 score.

However, that was all the runs ECU would score in the game and Northwestern added two runs in the third, fourth and seventh innings for the 1-8 final.

Game 2- NWOSU 5, ECU 4
The Tigers took control of the game by scoring three runs in the top of the first.  After two outs, junior Nick Spini singled to center and junior Bryce McKee was hit by a pitch.  That put two runners on when Pomales hit a shot over the center field fence for the 3-0 lead.

ECU added a run in the top of the fifth for a 4-0 advantage.  Lavender drew a one-out walk and junior Andrew Ayrado was hit by a pitch.  Spini then hit a bunt single that also had a throwing error that allowed Lavender to score.

It looked like the Tigers would take the game, but the Rangers scored five runs in bottom of the seventh, including a walk-off grand slam to earn the 4-5 win.
