Box Score 2 DURANT, OKLA.  – In the first trip to Durant, Okla., since 2009, the East Central University baseball team dropped both games of a double-header to Southeastern Oklahoma State.  ECU first fell 8-9 in 11 innings and then dropped the night cap 4-9.
The Tigers (26-22, 14-15 GAC) were led by junior 
David Terrazas, with a .500 average, three hits and one RBI.  Senior 
Ethan Gold added a .375 average, three hits and two RBIs.  Junior 
Casey Chenoweth tallied two doubles for the day with one RBI.

Icezack Flemming started the second game and added seven strikeouts to his NCAA leading total in five innings of work.  Junior 
Cam McKay suffered the loss in the opening game, throwing the last two innings, while junior 
Merrick Ardoin took the loss in game two.
The teams will wrap up the three-game series, Saturday, April 26 with a single game starting a 1p.m.
Game 1- SEOSU 9, ECU 8 (11)The Tigers came out ready to fight in the top of the first, scoring four runs for a 4-0 lead.  Senior 
Josh Lavender and junior 
Garrett Donohoe were both walked to lead off the game.  Junior 
Nick Spini sent the first run home when he reached on a sacrifice bunt attempt.

Bryce McKee then struck out, but reached second when the catcher dropped the third strike and muffed the throw to first.  Junior 
Luc Pomales and Gold both earned RBIs when they singled through the left side.
The Savage Storm (22-21, 13-16 GAC) didn't give up and scored a run in the first, second, third and fifth innings to tie the game at four.
ECU then regained the lead in the top of the seventh, scoring three runs.  After the first out, Donohoe was walked, Spini singled and junior 
Andrew Ayrado hit a fielder's choice with an error that loaded the bases.  Pomales earned an RBI with a sacrifice fly to left.  Gold added a run with a double and  Chenoweth was walked.
The final run of the inning was scored by Ayrado on a wild pitch for a 7-4 lead.
The Tigers held off SEOSU until the bottom of the ninth when they tallied three runs to tie the game and seven and force extra innings.
The teams battled through a scoreless 10
th inning, with ECU adding a run to the scoreboard in the top of the 11
th.  Spini and Ayrado were walked and sent to second and third on a sacrifice bunt by Pomales.  Gold was then intentionally walked to load the bases and set up a force out at home.  However, Chenoweth scored the run when he hit a sacrifice fly to center.
The Savage Storm then got one more shot to tie or win the game and took advantage, scoring two runs in the bottom of the 11
th for the 8-9 final.
Game 2 – SEOSU 9, ECU 4The Tigers again were the first to score in the top of the first inning, with a single run.  Lavender led off the game with a double down the left line and was sent home on a single by Donohoe.
SEOSU tied the game in the bottom of the second with a single run.
ECU then came out in the third and added three runs for a 4-1 lead.  Lavender was walked after the first out and sent to second on an error when Donohoe hit into a fielder's choice.  Spini sent both runners home with a triple to right field and junior 
David Terrazas added an RBI with a single up the middle.
SEOSU cut the advantage to one, scoring two runs in the bottom of the third for a 4-3 score.
The scored remained in favor of the Tigers until the bottom of the sixth, when the Savage Storm plated six runs for a 4-9 lead.  ECU was then held scoreless in the top of the seventh for the loss.
