The Tigers (22-16) were led by junior Garrett Donohoe, who tallied two hits, one run and one RBI.  Junior Luc Pomales led the team with two RBIs on one hit and one run scored.
The day got out to a quick start for the Bison (33-6) who tallied eight runs in the top of the first.

ECU scored its first run in the bottom of the first.  Senior Josh Lavender earned a lead-off walk, was sent to second on a balk and to third on a wild pitch.  That allowed him to score when Donohoe grounded out to second.

OBU added 10 runs in the second for a 1-18 lead before the Tigers added two runs in the bottom of the third for a 3-18 deficit.  Donohoe led off with a double and was sent home when Pomales hit his third home run of the season.

The Bison added three runs in the fifth and two in the sixth for a 3-23 advantage.

ECU was able to add one more run in the bottom of the seventh, but fell 4-23.  Junior Eric Swann singled, junior Ty Huie doubled and sophomore Gavan Susca was walked to load the bases.  The run was then scored when the OBU pitcher sent an errant pitch past the catcher.

The Tigers will be at home this weekend for the final Great American Conference home series of the 2014 season.  ECU will host Southwestern Oklahoma State for a double-header Friday, April 11 at 1 p.m. and a single game Saturday, April 12 at 1 p.m.  The weekend is the annual Alumni Weekend and Saturday will be Senior Day where the Tigers will honor their five seniors before the first pitch.
